AMB Services - Keeping It Simple for Employers

The Auckland Medical Bureau (est. 1967) arranges locum and permanent posts for medical doctors in General Practice and Hospitals throughout New Zealand. We also arrange assistantships and practice sales and offer other consultancy services to the medical profession including goodwill evaluations.

CVs are held on file for all locums registered with us and are available on request. Where possible, we arrange to interview here in our office.

Our register includes New Zealand and overseas graduates eligible for registration with MCNZ. Hospital placements range from HOs to Consultant level in most disciplines. General practice placements cover metropolitan, provincial and rural areas for various lengths of time. We assist and advise with all registration and immigration procedures, and any other matters if necessary.

Payment to the locum is made directly by the employing principal.

Ours is a free service to the locum and a placement fee is paid to AMB by the employing principal.
